La Haute Autorité de l'Audiovisuel et de la Communication (HAAC) a signé, ce jeudi 02 octobre 2025, à Cotonou, une convention avec la Radio « La Voix des Enfants », portée par l'organisation SOS Villages d'Enfants.

Le président de la HAAC, Édouard C. Loko, et le directeur national de SOS Villages d'Enfants, Salimane Issifou ont signé, jeudi 02 octobre 2025, un accord qui officialise la Radio « La Voix des Enfants ». Placée sous la tutelle de SOS Villages d'Enfants, la radio se veut un espace d'expression pour les enfants orphelins et abandonnés. Elle entend promouvoir leurs droits, sensibiliser sur leur protection et leur donner une place dans le débat public.

« Votre succès sera bénéfique pour toute la Nation », a déclaré le président de la HAAC, saluant une initiative qui enrichit le pluralisme médiatique.

Pour le promoteur, cette étape marque un tournant. « Désormais, les enfants sans soins parentaux adéquats ne seront plus réduits au silence. Leur voix comptera », a affirmé Salimane Issifou.

Avec cette convention, « La Voix des Enfants » rejoint la liste des organes de presse reconnus et régulés par la HAAC.

Le conseil de supervision de la mairie de Kétou a démis de ses fonctions le Secrétaire Exécutif (SE) Richard Tossou. Cette décision a été prise, ce jeudi 02 octobre 2025, à l'issue d'une session extraordinaire.

Richard Tossou n'est plus Secrétaire Exécutif (SE) de la mairie de Kétou. Le SE a été relevé du poste qu'il occupait depuis 2012. Cette décision a été prise, jeudi 02 octobre 2025, avec le soutien du conseil communal dirigé par la maire Lucie Sessinou.
Selon les informations, le SE serait incapable de mener à bien la mission qui lui a été assignée.
La mairie de Kétou a relevé des « insuffisances de résultats » dans l'exercice des missions confiées au Secrétaire Exécutif. Il est reproché également à Richard Tossou son manque d'efficacité.
Un manque de compétences qui entraverait le bon fonctionnement de la mairie, selon la marie.

This report (Vlassis, A., Psychogiopoulou, E, Kandyla, A. and Sarikakis, K. (Eds) (2025)) examines EU film promotion by states and EU policies. It highlights the need for stronger gender equality support in the audiovisual sector.

Part B, authored by Evangelia Psychogiopoulou (ELIAMEP), Anna Kandyla (ELIAMEP), Pelin Turan (SSSA), Apostolos Samaras (ELIAMEP), Laia Comerma (ELIAMEP), and Caterina Sganga (SSSA), forms part of T3.5 (EU law and governance and the promotion of the EFI on the international scene). It examines and assesses whether—and, if so, how—EU law and policies promote European audiovisual works and film beyond the borders of the EU. It does so by mapping the policies and instruments in place, identifying their characteristics, complementarities, enablers and limitations in enhancing the internationalisation of the European audiovisual industry. The analysis focuses in particular on agreements the EU has negotiated with third countries and regions concerning trade facilitation and cooperation in the audiovisual and film sectors. It also  considers EU funding instruments supporting the audiovisual sector and external action in this field. Methodologically, the study draws on extensive desk research and the analysis of a range of primary and secondary sources, complemented by insights gathered through semi-structured interviews with EU officials and film stakeholders. Overall, the findings indicate that EU agreements with third countries, along with audiovisual cooperation and external funding tools, include various elements that can boost the positioning of European films worldwide, although the scope of these instruments varies. The analysis also suggests that considerable untapped potential remains and calls for a comprehensive internationalisation strategy that promotes the competitiveness of the European audiovisual sector while supporting cultural diversity.
