L'histoire bouleversante d'un père et de sa fille russes opposés à la guerre de Vladimir Poutine en Ukraine. En avril 2022, Maria a 12 ans lorsque, dans son école d'une petite ville de l'ouest de la Russie, elle esquisse un dessin contre cette offensive lancée un mois plus tôt. Elle est immédiatement dénoncée à la police par ceux qui l'entourent. Visites du FSB à l'école à leur domicile, arrestations, perquisitions... Soutenant sa fille et s'exprimant tout haut contre la guerre, son père est finalement emprisonné pour "discrédit" de l'armée russe. À sa sortie de colonie pénitentiaire, ils quittent la Russie. Aujourd'hui réfugiés à Strasbourg, ils en veulent autant au régime de Vladimir Poutine qu'à ceux qui le soutiennent. Leur portrait, signé par Elena Volochine.

A delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) visited Seoul and Tokyo from 31 March to 2 April, led by Committee Chair David McAllister (EPP, Germany).
During the visit, MEPs discussed how to further strengthen the EU's strategic cooperation with South Korea and Japan, two of its key like-minded partners in the Indo-Pacific region. Discussions focused on issues of mutual interest against the backdrop of a rapidly shifting global landscape and challenges to the rules-based international order, shaped by evolving dynamics across the Indo-Pacific region, Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, and conflict in the Middle East.
