Der Rat hat restriktive Maßnahmen gegen 77 Personen erlassen, die – entweder als Kandidaten oder Mitglieder der zentralen Wahlkommission der Russischen Föderation – an den rechtswidrigen „Wahlen“ zur russischen Staatsduma beteiligt waren, welche im September 2026 in den vorübergehend und rechtswidrig von Russland besetzten Hoheitsgebieten der Ukraine stattfanden.
