Az Európai Unió további iráni személyeket és szervezeteket vett szankciós intézkedések hatálya alá az Oroszországnak szállított, és általa Ukrajnában bevetett drónok, valamint az iráni tüntetések vérbe fojtása miatt – közölték az uniós tagállamok külügyminisztereinek ülése után.

A külügyminiszterek négy iráni embert és szintén négy iráni szervezetet vettek szankciós jegyzékbe az Oroszország által az ukrajnai háborúban használt drónok (UAV) fejlesztésében és szállításában betöltött szerepük miatt.

A külügyminiszterek továbbá húsz személyt és egy szervezetet vettek fel a szankciós jegyzékbe. A jegyzékbe vettek felelősök a Mahszá Amíni halála miatt kirobbant tüntetések vérbe fojtásáért – közölték.

A büntetőintézkedések az Európai Unióba való beutazási tilalomra és az unióban tárolt pénzeszközeik befagyasztására terjednek ki. Ezenfelül uniós országok állampolgárai és az unió területén bejegyzett szervezetek és bankok nem bocsáthatnak pénzügyi eszközöket a jegyzékbe vettek rendelkezésére. Az Irán elleni emberi jogi szankciórendszer emellett magában foglalja a távközlési eszközök megfigyelésére szolgáló berendezések, valamint a belső elnyomásra felhasználható berendezések iráni exportjának tilalmát is.

Az EU október 20-án vetett ki először szankciókat az iráni drónok Oroszországnak történő szállítása és ukrajnai bevetése miatt. Akkor három iráni személy, valamint egy szervezet került jegyzékbe. Az Európai Unió Tanácsa november 14-én két személyre és két szervezetre vetett ki szankciókat az Ukrajna területi egységét, önállóságát és függetlenségét aláásó vagy fenyegető cselekményekért felelős irániakkal szemben.

Az Ukrajna területi integritását, szuverenitását és függetlenségét aláásó vagy fenyegető cselekmények miatt az Európai Unió először 2014. március 17-én vezetett be korlátozó intézkedéseket amiatt, hogy egy oroszbarát kommandó előtte, február 27-én megszállta a krími parlamentet, a képviselők oroszbarát kormányt választottak, és népszavazást írtak ki az Oroszországhoz csatlakozásról. Az uniós tagállamok vezetői 2015 márciusában a szankciók időtartamát a minszki megállapodások teljes körű végrehajtásához kötötték.

Romanian gas producers OMV Petrom and state-owned Romgaz filed paperwork on Tuesday that edged them closer to the extraction of a long-awaited deepwater gas field in the Black Sea, Petrom said.

A NATO DIANA (Észak-Atlanti Védelmi Innovációs Akcelerátor) innovációs hálózat hétfőn megtartott elnökségi ülésén a magyar jelöltet, Porkoláb Imre Zoltán dandártábornokot, a Honvédelmi Minisztérium innovációért felelős miniszteri biztosát választotta az igazgatótanács elnökhelyettesének.

A tárca közleményében emlékeztetett arra, hogy a NATO DIANA létrehozásáról a 2021. júniusi, brüsszeli NATO-csúcstalálkozón döntött a védelmi szövetség. Feladata, hogy összekösse a nemzetek védelmi innovációs ökoszisztémáját, valamint, hogy lehetőséget biztosítson a startupok, kisvállalatok és egyetemek együttműködésére.

Mint írták, az igazgatótanács elnökhelyettese a NATO felső vezetőivel, a DIANA ügyvezető igazgatójával és a DIANA igazgatótanácsának elnökével közösen a védelmi innováció stratégiai irányainak és kihívásainak azonosításában, illetve tervezésében vesz részt.

A dandártábornok kinevezése jelentős lépés a magyar haderő és védelemipar szempontjából, hiszen a terület irányításáért felelős miniszteri biztosként a modern, XXI. századi hadsereg fogalmának egyik legfelkészültebb szakértője, személyében a magyar innováció szószólója kerül a legnagyobb nemzetközi védelmi szövetség vezető pozíciójába – olvasható a Honvédelmi Minisztérium közleményében.

Porkoláb tábornok tapasztalt katonai szakember. Elvégezte a neves brit Sandhursti Királyi Katonai Akadémiát. Volt a Honvéd Vezérkar főnökének szárnysegédje, egy hadosztály hírszerzési elemző főnöke, az afganisztáni misszióba készülő csoportokat felkészítő zászlóalj parancsnoka, nemzeti képviselő a NATO Transzformációs Parancsnokságán, a NATO stratégiai parancsnokának képviselője az amerikai védelmi minisztériumban (Pentagon), és dolgozott a Miniszterelnöki Kormányirodában. 2020-tól a Mathias Corvinus Collegium Vezetőképző Akadémia igazgatója. Idén, november 1-től a védelmi innovációért felelős miniszteri biztossá nevezték ki.

Rolls-Royce won a $31 million modification, which exercises an option for the depot repair of T56-A-427A engines utilized on E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft for the Navy. The depot repair includes the repair of the power section, torque meter, gearbox, accessories and all related over and above and material support. Work will take place in Texas, Canada, Indiana. Estimated completion will be in December 2023.

Lockheed Martin won a $14 million deal for AEGIS Combat System Engineering Agent efforts, which include the design, development, integration, test and delivery of Advanced Capability Build 20. Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by May 2023.

A contract has been entered into by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace with the Netherlands Ministry of Defence to supply the fleet of Air Defence & Command Frigates with the Naval Strike Missile. Eirik Lie, President of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, said, “We are very proud to have been chosen by the Netherlands Ministry of Defence to supply the NSM to the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) Air Defence & Command Frigates. This is another fantastic accomplishment for the NSM program and we are delighted to welcome the RNLN as a member of the NSM User Group.”

Europe

The Ukrainian Army has apparently received Titan-S armored personnel carriers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Ukraine’s weapons tracker uploaded a short video showing Kyiv’s forces maneuvering several Titan-S vehicles in the abandoned city of Pripyat, near the Ukraine-Belarus border. The account did not specify how many of the UAE-made personnel carriers were delivered to the war-torn nation or show supplied them.

As numerous Eastern European allies are accelerating acquisitions of weaponry in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Croatia’s announced an “urgent procurement of short-range anti-aircraft missile systems.” The acquisition of Mistral surface-to-air missiles, made by MBDA Missile Systems, is valued at close to $76 million. It is to be financed from the Croatian budget in the 2024 to 2026 period, the government said in a statement.

Asia-Pacific

The Japanese government is considering a Patriot missile system radar upgrade with counter-hypersonic capabilities. Tokyo is planning to upgrade some Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC) – 3 radars with the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS), The Yomiuri Shimbun reported, citing sources. The US Army purchased six LTAMDS in 2019 for $384 million and accepted the first of the lot in May for operational testing.

« 21 Days of Y'ello Care » est un Programme de volontariat de MTN Bénin qui mène des actions sociales à l'endroit des jeunes béninois pour les accompagner dans l'insertion dans la vie professionnelle. La réussite de ce programme est due en grande partie à la participation active du personnel de MTN.
L'édition 2022 de ce projet a su bien impacter la vie de plusieurs femmes. Quelques unes en parle.

MTN Bénin vole chaque année, au secours de plusieurs centaines de jeunes Béninois à travers « 21 Days of Y'ello Care ». Cette année, le programme fera mieux que les années précédentes avec 1000 jeunes formés au marketing numérique, au code de la route, à la gestion financière, aux technologies de l'information et à l'entrepreneuriat, entre autres. 500 jeunes parmi les plus méritants seront bénéficiaires du soutien de MTN et de ses équipes pour devenir auto-entrepreneurs en acquérant des motos électriques de M Auto qui leur permettront de mener des activités génératrices de revenus.

Pour MTN Bénin, il s'agit de donner aux jeunes défavorisés les moyens d'acquérir des compétences utiles. Et le personnel de la compagnie de télécommunications y joue un rôle très important gâce à sa participation active. Ce qui lui permet de vivre une expérience enrichissante en consacrant du temps, en partageant leur savoir et en s'impliquant pour améliorer le quotidien de personnes pas toujours gâtées par la vie.
Ainsi, ce programme joue un rôle significatif dans la réduction du taux de chômage, surtout chez les jeunes.

Parmi les femmes bénéficiaires, deux nourrices en parlent

En tant que nourrice et entrepreneure, qu'est-ce qui motive votre participation au programme ?
1ère nourrice : Ce qui m'a motivé à prendre part au programme 21 DAYS OF Y'ELLO CARE, c'était l'obtention de la moto électrique pour pouvoir améliorer mes performances de vente en ligne.

2e nourrice : Ce programme que j'ai suivi va apporter un changement dans ma vie et plus précisément dans mon commerce. Au cours de ce programme, il a été dit qu'on nous aiderait à acquérir des motos afin de dynamiser notre business. J'ai besoin d'une moto pour le type de commerce que j'entreprends surtout la livraison des produits.

Qu'apporte le programme dans votre activité ?

1ère nourrice : Un important véritable coup de pouce à mon activité. Si on prend le côté business, business que je gère à plein temps et le coté employabilité, coté femme je peux essayer de recruter un jeune déjà qui peut me servir de coursier et après, lui aussi il peut faire ses activités de zem pour gagner plus de chiffre d'affaires.

2e nourrice : J'achète des marchandises que je revends et distribue aux bonnes dames. Avant je prends un taxi moto pour la distribution. Je suis contente de l'opportunité qu'on m'offre dans l'acquisition de la moto. J'ai fait l'effort de participer à ce programme malgré mes occupations et mon statut de nourrice.

Quel est votre mot de fin ?

1ère nourrice : Ce que je vais dire aux jeunes, osez, ne doutez pas à vos capacités de devenir quelqu'un de plus meilleur que celui que vous êtes aujourd'hui, en tant que femme être mère nourrice ce n'est pas une fin en soi, dire que mon enfant m'empêche de faire si de faire ça, ce sont que des excuses. On peut tout avoir sans pour autant tendre la main à un homme.

2e nourrice : Je tiens à remercier MTN Bénin et son personnel. Je loue cette initiative et je souhaiterais que des programmes du genre soient mis en place pour nous qui sommes dans le besoin. Je leur dis merci.
