A vita során az egyik gépkocsi utasa egy gumilövedékes fegyverrel több lövést adott le, majd az érkezők elmenekültek a helyszínről. Két ember sérült meg, a mentők mindkettejüket kórházba vitték.

Vasárnap este a BRFK azt közölte, hogy nyomozói azonosították az újpesti gumilövedékes lövöldözés elkövetőit, akik ellen hajtóvadászatot indítottak. Azt írták: a vita hevében az egyik autóval érkező 52 éves B. Béla meglőtt egy férfit, az ott lakó család egyik tagját, a B. Bélával együtt érkező 37 éves G. Krisztián pedig egy késsel sebesítette meg a meglőtt férfi fiát. A gumilövedékkel meglőtt férfi életveszélyes, míg a késsel megsebesített fia súlyos sérülést szenvedett.

B. Béla nem sokkal a bűncselekmény után önként feladta magát az újpesti rendőrkapitányságon, míg társai, G. Krisztián és az ő fia, a 22 éves G. Krisztián Márió ellen elfogatóparancsot adtak ki. Ők este szintén önként feladták magukat. B. Béla ellen életveszélyt okozó testi sértés, két társa ellen felfegyverkezve, csoportosan elkövetett garázdaság bűntettének gyanúja miatt indult büntetőeljárás. A három férfi elszámoltatása folyamatban van – olvasható a BRFK esti közleményében.
