Vádat emeltek egy szentesi férfi ellen, aki tavaly decemberben késsel rabolt ki egy helybeli pénzintézetet – tájékoztatta a Csongrád-Csanád Megyei Főügyészség szóvivője.

Szanka Ferenc közölte, a letartóztatásban lévő férfit felfegyverkezve elkövetett rablás bűntettével vádolják.

A férfinek nem volt munkaviszonya és megélhetést biztosító rendszeres jövedelme, a vádirat szerint ezért elhatározta, hogy rablásból jut pénzhez. Tavaly december 21-én délután lakóhelyén – hogy későbbi menekülését biztosítsa – több réteg ruházatot vett fel, kést, valamint egy hátizsákot is magához vett. Majd arcán maszkot és napszemüveget viselve, kapucniját fejére húzva megjelent egy helyi bankfiókban.

Az ügyféltérben egy nőhöz lépett, kést szorított a nyakához, és a hátizsákot a pultra dobva a készpénz átadását követelte a banki alkalmazottaktól. A hátizsákba mintegy ötszázezer forintot pakoltak, ez alatt a vádlott folyamatosan a sértett nyakához szorította a kést, és sürgette a pénz átadását, azzal fenyegetőzve, hogy ha ez nem történik meg, elvágja a nő torkát. Miután a bank alkalmazottai az ügyféltérbe visszatérve átadták a hátizsákot a vádlottnak, a férfi kevesellte a kapott összeget, és megismételte fenyegetéseit. A banki alkalmazottak ekkor közölték, hogy a páncélszekrényt időzár védi, és annak kinyitására várni kell, amit hallva a férfi a hátizsákot magához véve elmenekült.

A rendőrség korábbi közleménye szerint a 24 éves férfi ezután taxival Csongrádra utazott, majd egy főváros felé tartó vonatra szállt fel. A rendőrök – katonákkal közösen – Kecskeméten elfogták a vádlottat, és szinte hiánytalanul lefoglalták a bankból elvitt pénzt is.
