Azzal vádolta meg a Nyugatot, hogy megpróbálta „ráuszítani” az államalkotó orosz népre a kis népeket, de ez nem sikerült neki.

„Először is, provokációkat látunk (olyanokat is, amelyeket «karddal» követnek el), amelyekkel külföldről «járnak át hozzánk». Másodszor, az elmúlt években (igen, valószínűleg a Szovjetunió óta) fennmaradt egy erős genetikai kódunk. Egységes, soknemzetiségű nép vagyunk, amelyet mindenki a maga helyén szolgál” – tette hozzá.

Hangot adott álláspontjának, miszerint Oroszország példát mutat azzal, hogy mindent megtesz azért, hogy ne legyen igazságtalanság a világban. Mint mondta, az orosz hadsereg felkészült bármilyen fejleményre hazájának védelmében. (Ijesztő nem? A -szerk- megj.)
