Orosz agresszió: London más G7-országokkal együtt megtiltja az orosz arany importját

Nagy-Britannia a hét vezető ipari hatalom (G7) több más tagjával együtt megtiltja az orosz arany importját – közölte a Downing Street.

A londoni miniszterelnöki hivatal szóvivőjének tájékoztatása szerint az intézkedéshez az Egyesült Államok, Japán és Kanada is csatlakozik. A németországi G7-csúcstalálkozó vasárnapi kezdete előtt bejelentett újabb szankció indoklása szerint az arany Oroszország legjövedelmezőbb exportcikke az energiahordozók után. A Downing Street tájékoztatása szerint Oroszország tavaly 12,6 milliárd font (5900 milliárd forint) értékben exportált aranyat.

London a világ egyik legnagyobb aranyforgalmazó piaca, így az orosz aranyexportra kirótt brit tilalom hatalmas hatással lesz Oroszország exportbevételeire – hangsúlyozta a Downing Street illetékese. A szóvivő szerint az intézkedés az amerikai, a kanadai és a japán kormány csatlakozásával világméretűvé szélesedik, de Boris Johnson brit miniszterelnök a G7-csúcson a többi tagország vezetőit is arra biztatja majd, hogy hozzanak hasonló szankciókat az orosz aranyexportra.

A Downing Street tájékoztatása szerint Nagy-Britannia az ukrajnai háború kezdete óta eddig 13,5 milliárd font éves értékű orosz exportra léptetett érvénybe korlátozásokat, emellett több mint ezer személy és száznál több intézmény ellen hozott szankciókat.

A brit kormány korábbi szankciói között szerepelt az orosz ezüst- és faipari termékek importjának tilalma, az egyéb nagy értékű orosz exportáruk, köztük a gyémánt és a gumiipari készítmények behozatali vámjának 35 százalékpontos emelése, a brit exportfinanszírozási rendszerből Oroszországnak és Fehéroroszországnak folyósított támogatások leállítása, az orosz gazdaságba irányuló brit befektetések, az orosz vállalatoknak nyújtott pénzügyi szolgáltatások, valamint a nyersolaj-finomítókban használatos alapvető fontosságú berendezések és katalizátorok oroszországi exportjának teljes tilalma.

E szankciók érvénybe léptetésével a brit piacra irányuló orosz export 96 százaléka, az Oroszországba irányuló brit export 60 százaléka esik korlátozás vagy tilalom alá. London az év végéig beszünteti az orosz nyersolaj importját is, és többször hangoztatta azt az álláspontját, hogy az egész világnak fel kell számolnia függését az orosz energiahordozó-szállításoktól.
