Americas

Sikorsky won a $429.2 million deal from the US Army for maintenance and overhaul of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of June 28, 2027.

Raytheon won a $57.9 million contract modification to exercise options and incrementally fund existing contract line items for fiscal 2022 Standard Missile-2 Block IIIC low rate initial production and spares. The SM-2 missile is a surface-to-air missile primarily intended for fleet area air defence and ship self-defense. Work will take place in Alabama and Arizona. Expected completion will be by December 2024.

Middle East & Africa

The Turkish Navy’s landing platform dock (LPD) Anadolu has started its official sea acceptance tests. Following the completion of its SATs, the future flagship of the Turkish Navy and the largest ship to be operated by the service is scheduled for commissioning in December 2022.

Europe

The Swedish government has inked a contract with Saab for two GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft. The contract is worth $714 million and Sweden has the option to purchase another two GlobalEye. The delivery of the aircraft is expected to be in 2027.

The Swedish ambassador to Czech Republic Fredrik Jörgensen said in an interview with Seznam Správy that Czech can keep the Gripens that it leased from Sweden for free. The news comes as Czech is looking into buying 24 fighters as the lease for the Gripens will expire in 2027. According to the news report, the F-35 is the leading contender.

Asia-Pacific

India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) has successfully sent three satellites from Singapore into space. The main satellite is the 365 kg DS-EO satellite which has an electro-optical digital imaging payload capable of 0.5 m resolution imaging capability.

A francia igazságszolgáltatás nem engedélyezte szerdán a Vörös Brigádok egykori olasz terrorszervezet azon tíz tagjának kiadását Olaszországnak, akiket az 1970-80-as években elkövetett terrorcselekményekért már elítéltek Olaszországban. Az ügy negyven éve mérgezi a két ország kapcsolatát.

Olaszország kérése eredetileg kétszáz emberre vonatkozott, közülük tíz ember átadásáról az igazságszolgáltatásnak személyesen Emmanuel Macron államfő döntött 2021 áprilisában. Az Elysée-palota akkor arra is felhívta a figyelmet, hogy az elnöki döntés szigorúan követi a Francois Mitterrand néhai szocialista államfő által bevezetett francia doktrínát, amely menedéket biztosít a Vörös Brigádok volt tagjainak, kivéve, ha vér tapad a kezükhöz.

A párizsi fellebbviteli bíróság az Emberi Jogok Európai Egyezményének 6. és 8. cikkelye alapján a családi és magánélet joga, valamint az igazságos perhez való jog tiszteletben tartására hivatkozva nem járult hozzá az egykori terroristák kiadásához.

“Ez a jogok, a humanizmus és az igazságszolgáltatás jogának győzelme az államérdekkel szemben” – jelentette ki Irene Terrel, aki a tízből hét vádlott ügyvédje. Jean-Louis Chalanset, aki Enzo Calvittit képviseli, úgy vélte, hogy amikor Emmanuel Macron tavaly elrendelte a tíz ember letartóztatását, “elárulta az adott szót”, s “egyáltalán nem volt ismerete arról, hogy mi az hogy amnesztia”.

Olaszország évek óta kérte Franciaországtól a szélsőbaloldali terroristák kiadatását. Azokról van szó, akik az egykori Vörös Brigádok terrorszervezet tagjaiként 1968 és 1982 között erőszakos akciókat és véres merényleteket követtek el, majd a szomszédos Franciaországba menekültek. Az elmúlt negyven évben azonban Franciaország csak két kiadatási kérelmet fogadott el, Jacques Chirac elnöksége idején: 1995-ben Paolo Persichettiét, akit 2002-ben adtak ki Olaszországnak, majd 2004-ben Cesare Battistiét, aki az 1990-es évek óta élt francia földön, de aztán onnan is elmenekült. Végül Bolíviában tartóztatták le, és három évvel ezelőtt adták ki Olaszországnak.

A francia elnöki hivatal szerint a tíz név kiválasztása “több hónapos, jelentős kétoldalú előkészítő munka eredménye volt, amely a legsúlyosabb bűncselekményekre koncentrált”. Az őrizetbe vettek között van a többi között Giorgio Pietrostefani, a Lotta Continua nevű, szélsőbaloldali szervezet egyik alapítója, akit távollétében 22 év börtönre ítéltek, az 1968-ban elkövetett rendőrgyilkosságért életfogytiglanra ítélt Narciso Manenti, továbbá Roberta Capelli, Enzo Calvitti, Giovanni Alimonti és Sergio Tornaghi, valamint Maurizio Di Marzio, Luigi Bergamin és Raffaele Ventura.

A március 23. és június 15. között rendezett meghallgatásokon az egykori terroristák valamennyien elmondták, hogy mi történt velük az elmúlt negyven évben Franciaországban. Mindannyian úgy vélték, hogy védelmet élveznek a Mitterrand-doktrína alapján.

Rémy Heitz, a fellebbviteli bíróság főügyésze közleményében jelezte: elképzelhető, hogy a döntés ellen fellebbeznek a semmítőszék előtt. “A francia igazságszolgáltatás szuverén döntést hozott, és az igazságügyi minisztérium nem kommentálja azt” – jelezte a tárca az AFP hírügynökségnek, kiemelve, hogy a francia és az olasz hatóságok között kölcsönös a magas fokú bizalom, s mindketten osztják a jogállamiság koncepcióját.

Les responsables de DingaStream, la plateforme Béninoise de streaming ont fait le lancement officiel de la nouvelle version de l'application de streaming à travers un tech talk et un show, ce jeudi soir (30 Juin 2022), dans la salle de cinéma de Canal Olympia Wologuédé. C'était une soirée privée et exceptionnelle dont l'entrée gratuite, est destinée essentiellement aux acteurs du show-business, les producteurs de contenus de la plateforme et les autorités politico-administratives.

La nouvelle version de l'application streaming musical de la Première plateforme Béninoise 100% streaming local a été lancée par un tech talk et un show inédit. Un événement fort simple mais riche en couleurs et rehaussé par la présence de plusieurs personnalités. Notamment le représentant du Ministre du Tourisme de la Culture et des Arts, le représentant de la Ministre du Numérique et de la Digitalisation, le directeur du Bureau Béninois du Droit d'Auteur et des Droits Voisins (Bubedra), Eugène Abalo, le Directeur du centre artistique et culturel Espace Mayton et le coordonnateur du CIPB (Conseil des Investisseurs Privés au Bénin) ansi que les artistes Willy Mignon, Chakka, Tonton Victor et Este Aganman Offishal.

Devant le public de choix, invité pour la circonstance, le promoteur de DingaStream, Miguel Kpakpo a présenté la genèse de la plateforme depuis l'origine du nom ''Dinga'' jusqu'à la réalisation de la plateforme. « DingaStream est parti de Dinga Cissé, l'empereur de l'empire du Ghana. Je tiens à faire cette précision parce que c'est de notre produit et c'est aussi l'âme de notre équipe », a précisé Miguel Kpakpo.

Au regard de sa présentation, DingaStream a pour but de faire la promotion dans le monde, des valeurs culturelles africaines à travers la musique pour les africains et la mise en lumière des artistes africains et les producteurs de contenus locaux. « Nous avons fait le choix d'abord idéologique de faire un produit qui répond au principe du ''For us by us'' par nous et pour nous. Nous avons fait le choix de recruter africain, nous avons fait le choix de travailler africain, nous avons fait le choix de produire pour le public africain, béninois d'abord parce que nous avons des racines et des assises dans le pays. mais d'abord africain », a-t-il précisé

Mais le projet DingaStream n'a pas été réalisé sans difficulté mais monsieur Kpakpo et son équipe y croire et espère. « (...) Je vais vous présenter notre parcours, notre histoire. vous allez voir qu'il y a eu des péripéties, des imprévues, des tristesses des départs, des doutes, des joies et malgré tout ça il reste beaucoup d'espoir ».

l'application de DingaStream n'est pas sans avantages pour les artistes. Ils pourront profiter des fruits de leurs œuvres en tirant des revenues substantielles selon l'audience qui écoute leur musique à raison de 3 francs par écoute. Le public aussi en profiterait avec la nouvelle version de l'application de DingaStream. Il pourra écouter de la musique partout et en tout lieu à un prix défiant toute concurrence.

C'est donc un projet destiné à tous les africains. C'est une très jeune équipe qui a envie de faire de grandes choses pour révéler la culture du Bénin et de l'Afrique « On n'y arrivera pas seuls. Nous comptons sur vous », a insisté Miguel Kpakpo. Il n'a pas caché sa satisfaction à l'issue de ce tech talk clôturé par les distinctions de Este Aganman Offishal, la révélation de la plateforme et Bobo Wê en tant que le plus streamé des artistes de la plateforme.
