Sok olyan célunk van, amelyek megvalósításához végre hozzáláthatunk – mondta a területfejlesztési miniszter a Facebook-oldalán szerda este arra reagálva, hogy az Európai Bizottság Brüsszelben közölte, Magyarország igazságügyi reformja orvosolta az igazságszolgáltatás függetlenségének hiányosságait, ami azt jelenti, a kohéziós politika finanszírozásának egy része feloldható, Magyarország akár 10,2 milliárd euró körüli visszatérítést is igényelhet.

Navracsics Tibor a közösségi oldalára feltöltött videóban emlékeztetett: tavaly ilyentájt annak örülhettek, hogy fél év megfeszített tárgyalássorozata után sikerült aláírni és elfogadtatni minden olyan dokumentumot az Európai Bizottsággal, illetve a Tanáccsal, amelynek eredményeként el lehetett kerülni, hogy Magyarország elveszítse az uniós forrásokat. Az idei év végére – tette hozzá – azzal az eredménnyel büszkélkedhetnek, hogy újabb egy év kemény tárgyalásai után az Európai Bizottság elismerte: Magyarország teljesítette az úgynevezett horizontális feljogosító feltételeket. Ennek köszönhetően mintegy 4000 milliárd forint európai uniós forrás felhasználására nyílik lehetőség.

A területfejlesztési miniszter szerint Magyarország az európai uniós források egyik legeredményesebben felhasználó tagállama. Így volt ez a 2014-2020 közötti időszakban, és – mint mondta – biztos benne, hogy így lesz a 2021-2027-es időszakban is. Sok olyan cél van, amelynek megvalósításához Magyarország végre hozzáláthat – jelentette ki.

Navracsics Tibor hangsúlyozta: az Európai Bizottság döntése azt is eredményezi, hogy a kohéziós pénzek és a helyreállítási alap pénzei a jövőben olyan célok megvalósítását szolgálhatják, amelyek erősebbé teszik a magyar gazdaságot és boldogabbá a magyar embereket.

Köszönetet mondott azoknak, akik támogatták a kormányt a tárgyalások során, és azoknak is, akik bírálták, folyamatosan számonkérték a haladást a tárgyalásokon, hiszen ezáltal – megfogalmazása szerint – egy pillanatra sem lankadhattak.

“Meggyőződésem, hogy együtt mi, közel tízmillióan értük el ezt a sikert” – hangoztatta a területfejlesztési miniszter.

Navracsics Tibor azt mondta: bízik abban, hogy az uniós források valóban meg is érkeznek, és Magyarország és ezáltal az egész Európai Unió boldogulását szolgálják.
