Ha nem vesznek részt a választásokon, ha nem használják mozgósító erőnket, nem lett volna meg az elegendő szavazat ahhoz, hogy bár egy erdélyi magyar képviselő is bejusson az Európai Parlamentbe.” Az MPP elnöke rámutatott, hogy a párt Vincze Loránt FUEN-elnököt saját jelöltjének tartotta a kampány során. A politikus köszönetét fejezte ki az MPP tagjainak és szimpatizánsainak, hogy félretéve a politikai hovatartozást, részt vettek a vasárnapi EP-választáson, és a Kárpát-medencei magyar összefogásra szavaztak.
