The charges came after police seized his phone and other materials when he also solicited money from a woman posing as a wealthy Russian in a sting in Ibiza, which triggered the collapse of Austria's then coalition.

Belarus has threatened to halt transit of EU goods via its territory after Europe's recent economic sanctions. Royal Australian Navy Anzac Class frigate HMAS Perth returned to the water on July 1 after being lowered out of the dry dock at the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, Western Australia. The move followed the completion of upgrades to the frigate’s radar capabilities, communications systems, and crew-habitable areas, which are a major part of the Anzac Midlife Capability Assurance Programme (AMCAP), according to a statement by the Department of Defense.

Nem jogerősen életfogytig tartó fegyházbüntetésre ítélte a Nyíregyházi Törvényszék kedden azt a férfit, aki vadászfegyverével két embert megölt 2019 augusztusában Nyíregyháza-Oroson.

Resán Dalma, a törvényszék sajtószóvivője a közleményében azt írta, a több ember sérelmére elkövetett emberölés bűntettében elmarasztalt vádlott büntetéséből legkorábban 25 év múlva bocsátható feltételesen szabadságra.

A tényállás szerint a férfi felesége korábban érzelmi kapcsolatba került munkahelyi felettesével, amiről a vádlott is tudomást szerzett. A pár kapcsolata emiatt megromlott, így megegyeztek abban, hogy az asszony elköltözik otthonról. A nő 2019. augusztus 26-án szeretője lakására ment, ahol szóváltás alakult ki köztük arról, hogy a férfi mit híresztel kettejük kapcsolatáról, majd az asszony azzal hívta fel a férjét, hogy a sértett lekezelően beszélt vele. A történtek hallatán a vádlott az engedéllyel tartott vadászpuskájával vetélytársa házához hajtott, és fegyverével a ház udvarán tartózkodó sértett irányába lőtt: az első lövés még célt tévesztett, a második azonban a bejárati ajtón keresztül halálosan megsebesítette a házba menekülő férfit – közölte a szóvivő.

A lövések hangjára a szemközti házból elindult az utcára az áldozat édesapja, akire a támadó célzott lövést adott le, de nem találta el. Az idősebb férfi ezután az utcán felelősségre vonta, majd amikor hátat fordított neki, és elindult megnézni, hogy mi történt a fiával, a vádlott hátba lőtte. A helyszínről autójával elhajtó férfi később az őt kereső rendőrjárőrnek adta meg magát. A büntetés kiszabása során a bíróság enyhítő körülményként vette figyelembe a vádlott büntetlen előéletét, részben bűnösségre is kiterjedő beismerő vallomását, megbánó magatartását és azt, hogy az elkövetéskor két kiskorú gyermeke eltartásáról gondoskodott – közölte a sajtószóvivő. Súlyosító körülményként értékelte a bíróság a hasonló bűncselekmények elszaporodottságát, az elkövetéshez használt eszköz különösen veszélyes voltát, az idősebb sértett vonatkozásában pedig azt, hogy a vádlott fényes nappal, a nyílt utcán, kivégzésszerűen követte el tettét.

Az ítélet ellen az ügyészség, a vádlott és védője is fellebbezést jelentett be, a büntetőper a Debreceni Ítélőtáblán folytatódik.

Elítélték Németországban az utóbbi évek egyik legnagyobb szabású pedofil bűncselekmény-sorozatának több elkövetőjét, az ügy fővádlottját a büntetés letöltése után sem engedhetik szabadon.

A 28 éves informatikust 14 év szabadságvesztésre ítélte a münsteri bíróság. A bűnismétlés veszélye miatt a büntetés letöltése után határozatlan idejű szabadságvesztést jelentő, úgynevezett biztonsági őrizet vár rá. A bíróság bizonyítottnak látta, hogy 29 esetben súlyos szexuális visszaéléseket követett el élettársa kisfia és más gyermekek ellen. Bűnpártolás miatt elítélték 46 éves édesanyját is, öt évre.

A férfi és három társa tudatmódosító – úgynevezett K.O. – cseppekkel elkábított gyermekeket bántalmazott, több esetben napokon át folyamatosan. Tetteikről felvételeket készítettek, amelyeket az internet bűnözők körében közkedvelt részén, a darkneten terjesztettek. Az elsőrendű vádlott bűntársait 10 év, 11 év hat hónap, illetve 12 év szabadságvesztésre ítélték. Ők is biztonsági őrizetbe kerülnek büntetésük letöltése után.

Az eset az Észak-Rajna-Vesztfália tartományi Münster egy úgynevezett városi kiskertes (Schrebergarten) övezetében történt. Az áldozatokat a fővádlott édesanyjának kiskerti házában bántalmazták. A nőt azért ítélték el, mert tudta, hogy mit művelnek házában, de nem tett semmit a bűncselekmények megakadályozásáért.

Az elsőrendű vádlott 2019 tavaszán bukott le. A rendőrség 30 órányi videóanyagot talált az üggyel kapcsolatban lefoglalt adathordozókon. A felvételeken feltűnő bűnelkövetők utáni nyomozás még nem ért véget, legutóbb júniusban fogtak el egy újabb gyanúsítottat.
