Tizenkét, Lengyelországban gyártott, a román katasztrófavédelemnek szánt Black Hawk típusú helikopter beszerzéséről írtak alá kedden keretmegállapodást a bukaresti belügyminisztériumban – tudatta az Agerpres hírügynökség.

A szerződés összértéke 269 millió euró, nagyjából 97,44 milliárd forint.

A közepes teherbírású, többcélú helikoptereket a PZL-Mielec repülőgépgyárban fogják gyártani, ahol a Sikorsky/Lockheed Martin Európának szánt Black Hawk helikopterei készülnek.

Raed Arafat katasztrófavédelmi államtitkár felidézte, hogy a közbeszerzési eljárás 2018-ban kezdődött, majd miután senki sem jelentkezett az első kiírásra, tavaly januárban versenytárgyalást hirdettek, amelyen az olasz Leodnardo S.P.A. és az Airbus Helicopters Romania is részt vett. A harmadik ajánlat azonban megfelelőnek bizonyult, az államtitkár szerint kiváló képességekkel rendelkező, teherszállításra, súlyos állapotban lévő sérültek szállítására, vagy akár erdőtüzek oltására alkalmas helikopterekről van szó, amelyekben négy-négy hordágy fér el, alkalmasak akár a tengeri kutató-mentő akciókra is.

A Lucian Bode román belügyminiszter jelenlétében aláírt keretmegállapodás megkötésénél a PZL-Mielec, a Sikorsky és a Lockheed Martin vállalat képviselőin kívül Lengyelország, illetve az Egyesült Államok bukaresti nagykövetségének megbízottja is jelen volt.

A helikoptereket 2023 végén szállítják le, és hamarosan megkezdődik a pilóták és a műszaki személyzet kiképzése.
