Magyarországon forgatják jövőre a Doktor Zsivágó alkotójáról, Borisz Paszternákról és titkos szerelméről szóló filmsorozatot. Az alapnak számító és a Budapesti Könyvfesztiválra kiadott regényt a Nobel-díjas író húgának unokája, Anna Pasternak írta Lara – Zsivágó doktor eltitkolt szerelme címmel.

Ez egy hatrészes tévésorozat lesz, amelyet a világszerte nagy sikert aratott Downton Abbey című sorozat alkotói készítenek. Budapest mellett nem csak a remek filmes háttér, de az is szólt, hogy az oroszországi forgatás drágább, ráadásul a briteknek vízum is kell a beutazáshoz és az ottani munkához.

Olga Ivinszkaja, egy irodalmi újság szerkesztője 1946-ban ismerkedett meg Borisz Paszternakkal, akit akkor már jó ideje foglalkoztatott élete fő műve, a Zsivágó doktor. A találkozásból nagyon hamar szerelem lett, és Olga rövidesen Paszternak mindennapjainak fontos, nélkülözhetetlen szereplőjévé vált. A lángra gyúló szerelem ellenére Paszternak nem akarta elhagyni feleségét, Zinajdát. Úgy őrlődött a két nő között, mint a regénybeli Zsivágó doktor felesége és szeretője között. Embert próbáló, pokoli időkben éltek a XX. század Szovjetuniójában, és a rezsim őket sem kímélte – egy embertelen hatalom torz világában lehetséges csak, hogy Olgának pusztán a Paszternakhoz fűződő viszonya miatt a Gulag borzalmait is el kellett viselnie. A már addig is abszurd történet Olga szabadulása és a regény elkészülte után képtelen, krimibe illő események láncolatával folytatódott. A tébolyult világban Olga hűsége, kitartása, támogató szerelme egyetlen pillanatra sem ingott meg. Ha kellett, kéziratot gépelt, máskor kiadókkal tárgyalt, fordított Paszternak helyett, vagy pénzcsempészésben működött közre, hogy a hazájában némaságra ítélt szerző a külföldi jogdíjakból fenntarthassa magát. A Paszternak család által sokáig meg- és letagadott Olga Ivinszkajának állít emléket a kötet szerzője, Borisz Paszternak húgának unokája, aki Olgában nem a lenézett csábítót, hanem az odaadó és szenvedélyes, a szerelméért emberfeletti önfeláldozásra is kész nőt látja. Anna Paszternak könyve az Olga által annyira áhított elismerés és elfogadás őszinte, kései gesztusa, amit a történet egyik fontos és aktív szereplője, Olga Ivinszkaja lánya, Irina még megérhetett.

2017. január 27-én a Moszkva északi külvárosában lévő Lukoviciben hollywoodi show-műsorokat megszégyenítő látványos külsőségek között mutatták be a MiG-35-ös első (?) példányát a nemzetközi sajtó és az orosz fővárosban akkreditált katonai attasék sokasága előtt.
