Csehország további mintegy 600-700 millió korona (9900 – 11550 millió forint) értékben küld a közeljövőben hadianyagot Ukrajnának – közölte Jana Cernochová cseh védelmi miniszter, miután a témáról Petr Pavel államfővel egyeztetett.

„A segítség értéke, amelyet a hadsereg vezérkari főnökével (Karel Rehka) együtt terveztünk meg mintegy 600-700 millió korona. Nem pénzbeli segítségről, hanem a raktárainkban lévő hadianyagokról van szó” – jelentette ki a tárcavezető újságírók előtt. „Úgynevezett felesleges anyagról van szó, amelyet anélkül küldhetünk Ukrajnába, hogy ezzel veszélyeztetnénk saját védelmi képességeinket” – tette hozzá Jana Cernochová. Hangsúlyozta: nagyon ügyel arra, hogy csak olyan hadianyagot és fegyvereket küldjön Csehország Ukrajnába, amelyet a hadsereg nélkülözni tud, illetve gyorsan képes mással helyettesíteni.

Tekintettel a háborús helyzetre Cernochová nem részletezte, milyen hadianyagról is van szó.

Petr Pavel cseh államfő a Süddeutsche Zeitung nevű német lapnak a közelmúltban azt mondta: Csehország továbbra is segíteni fogja az orosz agresszió ellen harcoló Ukrajnát, de már nincs sok lehetősége további hadianyagot és fegyvereket küldeni az ukránoknak. Az elnök szerint nagyobb tartalékok még a légvédelmi fegyverek, illetve a lőszer terén vannak.

A prágai sajtóban megjelent nemhivatalos értesülések szerint Csehország eddig több mint ötvenmilliárd korona értékű segélyt küldött Ukrajnába, ebből a kormányzat által küldött segély értéke mintegy 15 milliárd koronát tesz ki. Ennek nagyobbik részét fegyverek és hadianyagok képezték.

KTO Rosomak típusú páncélozott harcjárművek és egyéb hadifelszerelés szállításáról szóló szándéknyilatkozatot írt alá szerdán Varsóban Mateusz Morawiecki lengyel kormányfő és Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök. A két vezető a kétoldalú tárgyalásokat követően látta el kézjegyével a dokumentumot. Morawiecki és Zelenszkij jelenlétében aláírták továbbá a 125 milliméteres harckocsilőszer közös gyártásáról szóló megállapodást, valamint azt a szándéknyilatkozatot is, amely a lengyel cégek részvételéről szól Ukrajna háború utáni újjáépítésében. Morawiecki szombaton közölte, hogy Ukrajna száz új KTO Rosomak típusú páncélozott harcjárművet rendelt Lengyelországtól.
