Szombaton a három utolsó atomerőmű leállításával véget ér az atomenergia-termelés bő hatvanéves korszaka Németországban, miután végleg lekapcsolják az áramellátó hálózatról a bajorországi Isar 2, az alsó-szászországi Emsland és a baden-württembergi Neckarwestheim 2 erőművet.

Az erőművek leállításukig teljes kapacitással termeltek áramot. Az RWE emslandi erőműve például Alsó-Szászországban az év elejétől április 15-ig mintegy kétmilliárd kilowattóra áramot termelt, ami a vállalat szóvivője szerint „nagyjából 500 ezer háztartás éves áramfogyasztásának felel meg”.

Az Isar 2 erőmű évente mintegy 11 milliárd kilowattóra áramot termelt, ami Bajorország áramszükségletének 12 százalékát fedezte. A Neckarwestheim 2 atomerőmű az idén a leállításáig 1,7 milliárd kilowattóra áramot termelt. A teljes német energiamixben azonban az atomenergia már nem játszik jelentős szerepet. Tavaly az energiatermelés 46,1 százaléka származott megújítható forrásból, 45,3 százaléka fosszilis forrásból, 6,5 százaléka atomenergiából, 2,1 százaléka pedig egyéb forrásból.

Az energiaipari ágazat szakmai képviseleti szervezete, a BDEW (Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft e.V.) adatai szerint január-februárban az atomerőművek a németországi áramtermelés négy százalékát adták, egyharmadával kevesebbet a 2022-es átlagnak.

A Bundesnetzagentur, a német hálózati felügyelet szerint az atomerőművek leállítása nem veszélyezteti az ellátási biztonságot, mert egyéb forrásból elegendő áramtermelési kapacitás áll rendelkezésre a kieső atomenergia fedezésére.

A nagy ipari energiafelhasználók képviseleti szervezete, a VIK (Verband der Industriellen Energie- und Kraftwirtschaft e.V.) vezérigazgatója, Christian Seyfert azonban ezzel ellentétes véleményen van és energiaellátási hiányra számít. „Európai energiaimportra hagyatkozni rendkívül kockázatos dolog” – fogalmazott. Úgy vélte, ahhoz, hogy az atomenergiából való kiszállásnak ne legyenek hosszú távon káros következményei, már meg kellett volna tenni a szükséges lépéseket az áramellátó hálózat terhelhetőségének rugalmasabbá tétele érdekében. „Minden egyes szabályozható teljesítményű erőmű lekapcsolása a hálózatról árfelhajtó hatást fejt ki a piacon és veszélyezteti Németország ipari telephelyként betöltött szerepét” – mondta.

Robert Habeck gazdasági miniszter azonban nyilatkozatban erősítette meg, hogy Németország energiaellátási biztonsága az atomerőművek leállítása után is garantált, a megújítható energiaforrások kiépítésének köszönhetően.

A három atomerőművet eredetileg az elmúlt év végén tervezték lekapcsolni a hálózatról. Az orosz-ukrán háború miatt bekövetkezett energiaellátási bizonytalanság miatt azonban a német kormánykoalíció az üzemidő meghosszabbítása mellett döntött a téli időszakban felmerülő áramigény biztonságos fedezése érdekében.

Az erőművek leállításával egy bő hatvanéves korszak ér véget Németországban. Elsőként a bajorországi Kahl atomerőművet helyezték üzembe Németországban 1960-ban.
