A bűncselekményekben vezető szerepet játszó férfi 2021 májusa és júniusa között tízszer ment ki a sértett vadásztársaság területére, ahol engedély nélkül, tiltott vadászati eszközök közé sorolt hőkamerát, valamint hangtompítót is használva vaddisznót, szarvast és szarvasborjút ejtett el, illetve több állatot megsebzett, amellyel egymillió forint kárt okozott.

A vádlottat hol az egyik, hol a másik társa kísérte el a vadászatokra. A többségében az általa működtetett vállalkozásnál dolgozó elkövetők az illegálisan elejtett állat mozgatásában, zsigerelésében, otthoni feldolgozásában segítettek, cserébe húst kaptak a zsákmányból.

A férfit végül orvvadászat közben tetten érték a rendőrök, s bár egyik társa közreműködésével elmenekült a helyszínről, a házánál elfogták, őrizetbe vették, s az eljárás egy időszakára letartóztatásba került.

Az ügyészség lőfegyverrel és lőszerrel visszaélés, orvvadászat, továbbá lopás miatt emelt vádat a banda tagjai ellen. A vádhatóság a vadakat ténylegesen elejtő két férfival szemben börtön-, illetőleg fegyházbüntetés, míg társaikkal szemben felfüggesztett börtönbüntetés kiszabására tett indítványt a bíróságnak.
