The EU issued a statement condemning in the strongest terms the execution in Iran of German-Iranian national Jamshid Sharmahd, and reiterating its call on Iran to refrain from any future executions and to end the distressing practice of detaining foreign civilians and dual nationals with a view to making political gains.

The Council listed 3 persons and 1 entity in view of the continuing grave situation in Myanmar/Burma.

A Tanács a mai napon elfogadta azt az Ukrajnának nyújtandó pénzügyi támogatási csomagot, amely többek között egy legfeljebb 35 milliárd EUR összegű rendkívüli makroszintű pénzügyi támogatási (MFA) hitelt, valamint egy olyan hitelezési együttműködési mechanizmust tartalmaz, amely az EU és a G7-partnerek által nyújtott, legfeljebb 45 milliárd EUR összegű hitelek visszafizetésében fogja segíteni Ukrajnát. A visszafizetést támogatni fogják az immobilizált orosz állami vagyoni eszközökből származó rendkívüli nyereségből származó, az EU rendelkezésére álló források.
