2026. február 24-én António Costa, az Európai Tanács elnöke Ursula von der Leyennel, az Európai Bizottság elnökével együtt Kijevbe utazik, hogy megemlékezzenek Oroszország Ukrajna elleni agressziós háborújának negyedik évfordulójáról.

A Tanács elfogadta álláspontját, melynek értelmében lehetővé teszi Ausztria számára, hogy módosítsa a Svájccal kötött, a határ menti régiókban autóbusszal végzett kabotázsról szóló közúti szállítási megállapodását.
