La Cour constitutionnelle a ajourné au jeudi 09 novembre 2023 l'examen du recours formé par Clément Isidore Capo-Chichi, président de la Commission Béninoise des Droits de l'Homme (CBDH) contre huit autres membres.

Le requérant Clément Isidore Capo-Chichi ; la vice-présidente Sidikatou Adamon ; le rapporteur Serge Prince Agbodjan ont été appelés à la barre à tour de rôle.
La Cour constitutionnelle a renvoyé l'examen du recours au jeudi 09 novembre 2023 après avoir écouté les parties.
Clément Isidore Capo-Chichi, le président de la CBDH, a été révoqué le 23 octobre 2023 par huit des dix commissaires de la CBDH. Il est accusé entre autres de faits présumés de conflit d'intérêts dans la passation des marchés, de mauvaise gestion des ressources, d'abus d'autorité et de fonction.
Les commissaires frondeurs ont promis apporter aux sages de la haute juridiction un mémoire étayant les ‘'graves faits'' reprochés à Clément Isidore Capo-Chichi.
