Weekly schedule of President Charles Michel, 1 – 7 July 2024

The Council adopted restrictive measures targeting the Belarusian economy, in light of the regime’s involvement in Russia’s illegal, unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.

The Council imposed restrictive measures against two individuals and four entities responsible for actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

The Council decided to list six individuals and three entities responsible for participating in the financing of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and enabling their violent actions.

A főképviselőnek az Európai Unió nevében tett nyilatkozata egyes harmadik országoknak az ukrajnai helyzetet destabilizáló orosz intézkedések miatt hozott korlátozó intézkedésekről szóló 2014/512/KKBP határozat módosításáról szóló, 2024. május 21-i (KKBP) 2024/1470 tanácsi határozathoz történő csatlakozásáról.

During the press conference held at the end of the European Council of 27 June 2024, President Charles Michel presented the main results of the meeting: appointments for EU's top jobs, Strategic Agenda 2024-2029, Ukraine, Middle East, Security and Defence, Competitiveness among others.

Az Európai Tanács június 27-én következtetéseket fogadott el Ukrajnáról, a Közel-Keletről, a biztonságról és védelemről, a versenyképességről, egyéb napirendi pontokról, a következő intézményi ciklusról, valamint a belső reformokkal kapcsolatos jövőbeli munkára vonatkozó ütemtervről.

Charles Michel, az Európai Tanács elnöke, Ursula von der Leyen, az Európai Bizottság elnöke és Volodimir Zelenszkij, Ukrajna elnöke az Európai Tanács 2024. június 27-i ülésének alkalmával aláírta az Európai Unió és Ukrajna közötti közös biztonsági kötelezettségvállalásokat.

Az Európai Unió megtette az Energia Charta Egyezményből való kilépés utolsó hivatalos lépését.

Charles Michel, az Európai Tanács elnöke és Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök beszédet intézett a sajtó képviselőihez az Európai Tanács 2024. június 27–28-i ülésének kezdete előtt.

A Tanács elfogadta a válsághelyzetekben való kényszerengedélyezéssel kapcsolatos tárgyalási álláspontját.

Charles Michel elnök meghívta az Európai Tanács tagjait a 2024. június 27–28-i brüsszeli ülésre, amelynek középpontjában a következő intézményi ciklus, Ukrajna, a Közel-Kelet, a biztonság és a védelem, a versenyképesség és egyéb kérdések fognak állni.
