Il pourrait s’appliquer provisoirement dès avril 2017 et offrir aux entreprises européennes de meilleures opportunités outre-Atlantique. Plenartagung : Am Mittwoch (15.2.) hat das EU-Parlament das "Umfassende Wirtschafts- und Handelsabkommen zwischen der EU und Kanada" (CETA) gebilligt. Die CETA-Verhandlungen hatten beinahe fünf Jahre und vier Monate in Anspruch genommen. Das Abkommen könnte schon ab April 2017 vorläufig zur Anwendung kommen. Der Handel zwischen der EU und Kanada erreichte 2015 ein Volumen von über 60 Milliarden Euro und soll durch CETA noch steigen.

Plenartagung : Die EU-Abgeordneten debattierten heute (14.2.) über das 86-Milliarden-Euro schwere Hilfsprogramm für Griechenland. Vertreter der EU und des Internationalen Währungsfonds (IWF) werden diese Woche nach Athen reisen, um zu bewerten, ob die im Rahmen des derzeitigen Hilfsprogramms vereinbarten Reformen umgesetzt werden. Dies ist essenziell für weitere internationale Unterstützung.

Das umstrittene Freihandelsabkommen zwischen der EU und Kanada steht an diesem Mittwoch im Europaparlament zur Abstimmung.

Plenáris ülés : Görögország helyzete és pénzügyi válsága az elmúlt hetekben ismét napirendre került az EU-ban. Egy, a Nemzetközi Valutaalap (IMF) képviselőiből és uniós tisztviselőkből álló delegáció a héten várhatóan Athénba utazik, hogy megvizsgálja, átültette-e a görög kormány a gyakorlatba a mentőcsomag feltételeként megszabott reformokat. Ez ugyanis elengedhetetlen feltétele annak, hogy további pénzügyi segítséget kapjon.

Séance plénière : La question de la dette grecque a fait une nouvelle fois l’objet d’un débat en session plénière à Strasbourg ce mardi 14 février. Une délégation de l’Union européenne ainsi que des représentants du Fonds monétaire international (FMI) devraient se rendre à Athènes au cours des prochains jours pour évaluer si le pays met correctement en œuvre les réformes prévues par le dernier plan de sauvetage, une condition nécessaire au maintien d’un soutien international au pays.
