Charles Michel, President of the European Council, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, and Josep Borrell, Vice-President of the European Commission on behalf of Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, met in Brussels today for the 22nd EU-Ukraine Summit and issued the following statement.
The 22nd summit between the European Union and Ukraine will take place in Brussels on Tuesday 6 October 2020. This is the first bilateral summit held in Brussels since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Council added Anguilla and Barbados to the EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes, and removed Cayman Islands and Oman from the list.

The Council imposed restrictive measures against 40 individuals identified as responsible for repression and intimidation against peaceful demonstrators, oppositions members and journalists in the wake of the 2020 presidential election in Belarus, as well as for misconduct of the electoral process.
