La société civile de Mwenga alerte sur les conditions « désastreuses » des déplacés de Lwindi

La situation des milliers de déplacés internes de la chefferie de Lwindi, installés à Mwenga-centre (Sud-Kivu), est critique. Dans un plaidoyer publié vendredi 6 février, la société civile de Mwenga dénonce leurs conditions de vie « désastreuses » et appelle à l'ouverture urgente d'un couloir humanitaire.


Selon cette organisation citoyenne, ces familles déplacées manquent de tout : abris, eau potable et nourriture. Leurs enfants ne sont plus scolarisés, car les infrastructures scolaires et religieuses sont saturées.
