Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the European Union on the alignment of certain third countries with Council Decision (CFSP) 2023/193 of 30 January 2023 amending Decision 2014/145/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine

The Council adopted conclusions on the revised EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes. A total of 16 countries have either not engaged in a constructive dialogue with the EU on tax governance or have failed to deliver on their commitments to implement the necessary reforms.

The Council today adopted a decision authorising member states to ratify, in the interest of the EU, the Second Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).

The EU and the Republic of Moldova issued a joint press statement following their 7th Association Council meeting.

Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the European Union on the alignment of certain third countries with Council Implementing Decision (CFSP) 2023/153 of 23 January 2023 implementing Decision 2011/235/CFSP concerning restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Iran.

The special meeting of the European Council will take place on 9 and 10 February 2023.

The Council extended the mandates of the EU Special Representatives for the Middle East Peace Process (MEPP), Central Asia and for Human Rights.

The Council decided to set two price caps for petroleum products falling under CN code 2710 which originate in or are exported from Russia.
