EU Finance Ministers of the eurozone are meeting on 15 June 2017 in Luxembourg to continue their discussion on the second review of Greece's economic adjustment programme. Ministers are also exchanging views on the results of the IMF Article IV consultation with the euro area and discussing ways to improve the quality of public finances.
EU Ministers for Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (EPSCO) meet on 15 and 16 June 2017 in Luxembourg to hold a policy debate on the 2017 European Semester. Over lunch, ministers are holding an informal debate on the European Pillar of social rights. The Council is called on to reach a general approach on a directive protecting workers against carcinogenic substances. It is taking note of a progress report on the posting of workers directive. It is also adopting conclusions on childhood obesity and on voluntary cooperation between health systems
The EU-Indonesia Partnership and Cooperation Agreement entered into force in May 2014 and provides for wide-ranging cooperation in the areas of political dialogue and security, trade, investments and economic cooperation as well as in the strengthening of people-to-people ties through mobility, educational and cultural exchange programmes.
Whilst practical cooperation between the EU and Iran already exists, the scope is currently well below potential. The limits of our cooperation reflect ongoing concerns in the EU and international community, chiefly connected to Iran’s nuclear programme. The EU is also following the situation of human rights closely.
The EU has forged constructive political dialogue with members of the Cooperation Council for Arab States of the Gulf (GCC). These countries are Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the UAE. The Cooperation Agreement, which was concluded in 1988, forms the basis for the relationship that aims at: strengthening the stability in the strategically important region; facilitating the political and economic relations; broadening economic and technical cooperation; further broadening cooperation on energy, industry, trade and services, agriculture, fisheries, investment, science, technology and environment. Cooperation between universities, business and the media also form part of the EU-GCC agenda.
Informal Ministerial Meeting of Ministers responsible for Cohesion Policy has the purpose of engaging EU Ministers in an informal discussion on the future of Cohesion Policy to see how Cohesion Policy can be improved to achieve its objectives and to meet the expectations of its citizens. The meeting takes place on 9 June 2017 in Valletta.
EU Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs meet on 8 and 9 June 2017 in Luxembourg to discuss a number of legislative files on the Justice topic (EPPO, supply of digital content, money laundering, etc.) as well as on the Home affairs one. Home affairs ministers are also expected to focus on migration, counter terrorism and improving interoperability of information systems. Both ministers meet to debate on issues related to criminal justice in cyberspace.
EU Ministers for Transport, Infrastructure, and Communications meet in Luxembourg on 8 and 9 June 2017. They are expected to agree on a general approach on a draft regulation on cross-border parcel delivery services. Ministers take stock of progress and hold a policy debate on the revision of the EU telecoms rules. They are also looking at progress made on proposed new rules for ePrivacy.

The 19th bilateral summit between the EU and China takes place on 1-2 June 2017 in Brussels. The aim is to advance on the strategic partnership between the EU and China. European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker represent the European Union. China is represented by Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
Argentina has a long tradition of European immigration which has led to strong economic, social and cultural transatlantic links with the European Union. The Framework Trade and Economic Co-operation Agreement between the EU and Argentina entered into force in 1990. It includes as fundamental principles two recurrent cornerstones of our cooperation policy: the strengthening of democracy and human rights, as well as regional integration.
On 26 and 27 May 2017, Italy is hosting the meeting of the G7 leaders. The summit focuses on the global economy, foreign policy, security of citizens, and environmental sustainability. European Council President Donald TUSK and European Commission President Jean-Claude JUNCKER represent the EU at the summit.

They are due to adopt conclusions on industrial policy; on a space strategy and on monitoring and reporting of research and innovation.
