Tout en confirmant l’existence de discussions en cours entre plusieurs leaders de l’opposition, dont Kafui Adjamagbo et Jean-Pierre Fabre, ils invitent les acteurs politiques à éviter toute déclaration susceptible de compromettre les initiatives de rapprochement et appellent à privilégier l’unité d’action de l’opposition.

C’est avec stupéfaction et indignation que nous avons écouté l’audio de M. ALI Camus relatif aux démarches que nous entreprenons en vue de la résolution du différend entre Madame Kafui ADJAMAGBO et M. Jean Pierre FABRE.

S’il est constant que des initiatives ont été effectivement prises dans ce sens, nous estimons que le contenu du message non seulement ne reflète pas l’état d’avancement des discussions mais s’avère aussi inutilement injurieux. Nous estimons que les propos de M. ALI Camus sont de nature à compromettre les efforts en cours. Considérant qu’il importe de donner une chance aux discussions en cours, nous estimons que cet audio est actuellement inopportun et contreproductif.

Nous avons déjà eu effectivement des séances de discussions avec des leaders de l’opposition dont Mme ADJAMAGBO et M. FABRE. Nous pouvons affirmer que leurs propos conclusifs, ont consisté à affirmer leur disponibilité en vue de contribuer à la résolution du problème et à dire que d’autres initiatives sont aussi en cours. Des rencontres doivent d’ailleurs intervenir dans la présente semaine à ce sujet.

Pour autant que nous soyons soucieux de la résolution des problèmes du pays, nous invitons chacun à s’abstenir, dans le contexte actuel, de tout ce qui serait de nature à entretenir les différends entre les acteurs politiques et à apporter sa contribution, si modeste soit-elle, à l’unité d’action de l’opposition.
