Representatives of the EU Member States, the Western Balkans and Turkey, the European Commission and the European Central Bank, as well as representatives of the central banks of the Western Balkans and Turkey met for their annual economic policy dialogue . The dialogue aims at preparing the Western Balkans and Turkey for their future participation in the European Semester.

A Tanács következtetéseket hagyott jóvá az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezetében és az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete Közgyűlésének 76. ülésszakán (2021. szeptember – 2022. szeptember) képviselendő uniós prioritásokról.

A Tanács újabb hat hónappal, 2022. január 31-ig meghosszabbította az Oroszországi Föderáció bizonyos gazdasági ágazatait célzó szankciókat.

A Tanács úgy határozott, hogy uniós katonai kiképzési missziót hoz létre Mozambikban azzal a céllal, hogy támogatást nyújtson a helyi fegyveres erők részére a polgári lakosság védelméhez, valamint a biztonság és a védelem helyreállításához Cabo Delgadóban.
