Les équipes béninoises dans les Groupes B

Du 05 au 08 Avril, l'Afrique du Sud accueille le Championnat scolaire africain. Dans ce cadre, la Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), a procédé au tirage au sort pour la constitution des poules de la compétition.

Au terme du tirage au sort l'équipe féminine (CEG Cobly) et celle masculine (CEG Sainte Rita) béninoises sont logées chacune dans la Poule B.

Yaya IDRISSOU soutenu par la majorité des conseillers

Moins de polémique autour de l'élection du maire Yaya IDRISSOU dans la commune de Djougou. Le successeur de Malick GOMINA a le soutien de 19 conseillers communaux sur les 31 que compte la commune de Djougou.

En plus des 12 conseillers communaux présents à la plénière consacrée à l'élection du nouveau maire de Djougou, 06 autres conseillers se sont désolidarisés du groupe des dissidents, et ont accordé leur soutien à Yaya IDRISSOU. Ils l'ont exprimé à travers une publication.
Un autre conseiller a donné procuration pour un vote en faveur de Yaya IDRISSOU.
Ce qui porte à 19, le nombre de soutiens au maire, sur les 31 dans la commune.

L'UPMB lance l'opération "Ma carte de presse, je l'exige dès maintenant"

L'Union des professionnels des médias du Bénin (UPMB) a fait une déclaration de presse ce mardi 04 avril 2023. L'organisation des journalistes béninois fustige la lenteur qu'observe la Haute autorité de l'audiovisuel et de la communication (HAAC) dans la délivrance de cartes de presse aux journalistes.

"Ma carte de presse, je l'exige dès maintenant", c'est le slogan d'une opération lancée par l'UPMB mardi 04 avril 2023. Il vise selon la présidente, Zakiath Latoundji, à exiger de la HAAC, la carte de presse aux journalistes qui remplissent les conditions.
La présidente de l'UPMB invite les acteurs des médias du nord et du sud, de l'est et de l'ouest en passant par le centre, à rester mobilisés pour la « la noble et commune revendication ».
Depuis plus d'un an, aucun journaliste béninois ne dispose d'une carte de presse valide. Et ce, malgré le communiqué de l'institution en charge de régulation des médias au Bénin invitant les journalistes à déposer leurs dossiers pour l'attribution et le renouvellement de leur carte de presse. Plusieurs mois après le dépôt des dossiers, et l'achèvement des travaux de la commission, la HAAC peine à délivrer la carte professionnelle aux journalistes. D'où l'appel à la mobilisation de la faîtière des professionnels des médias.
